This product is made under the same conditions as the essential oil. It therefore keeps all its qualities, in softer. For 1 kg of distilled leaves, we recover 1 liter of Ravintsara hydrosol. Today we notice that hydrosols have the wind in their sails and are developing at high speed. The use of hydrosol reassures people who do not feel serene with essential oils. Even though ravintsara essential oil is very easy to use and access, there are still more sensitive people who need to use ravintsara hydrosol as a replacement for the oil (children, pregnant women, and others). The hydrosol of Ravintsara (or floral water) is recovered during the distillation of the leaves. During a distillation is recovered, once cooled, the water vapor that has captured the essential oil molecules after passing through the leaves. Subsequently, through the settling process, the essential oil (which is lighter than water) rises to the surface and the remaining lower layer is what is called hydrosol or floral water. During this process, the hydrosol or floral water that has been crossed by the essential oil molecules has captured some of the benefits of the plant. To put it simply, hydrosol has the same benefits as essential oil but in a much softer and lighter version. The hydrosol or floral water of Ravintsara therefore has several advantages: We recommend use on people said to be sensitive to essential oil (children, pregnant women, the elderly) and It can even be used internally after according to the advice of your pharmacist or doctor.
